“Sablier” at Zurich Airport receives 15 GaultMillau points
The “Sablier” restaurant has been awarded 15 points in the latest GaultMillau rating and is part of the diverse gastronomic scene in The Circle.
Since The Circle opened in 2020, the Sablier Rooftop Restaurant & Bar has been one of the most popular spots for fine dining at Zurich Airport. Under the management of Managing Director Luca Sigg and Chef de Cuisine Daniel Kirchmeier, the French restaurant stands out for its high-quality, seasonal cuisine and its role in setting new trends in Zurich's gastronomic scene. The kitchen team has earned 15 GaultMillau points for their work. Culinary highlights include classics such as “Bouillabaisse”, and “Huîtres Marennes No. 2”. The offer is complemented by a wine cellar with around 300 selections. Sablier also boasts a rooftop terrace that provides a unique atmosphere with a view of Circle Park.
Every Sunday, the restaurant invites guests to enjoy “Brunch au Paradis”. A special Easter brunch will be served on April 20, followed by a Mother's Day brunch on May 11. Due to high demand, early booking is recommended.

Culinary diversity in the Circle
In addition to Sablier, The Circle offers a diverse gastronomic selection. Guests can enjoy wood-fired pizzas at l'Oro di Napoli, while Leon's Bodega features a tavolata concept. Rice-up serves street food-inspired bowls, and Leon's Loft offers feel-good options like burgers. Negishi impresses with its sushi offering. The two Hyatt hotels – the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle – also feature a wide range of restaurants and bars. At Babel (which has earned 13 GaultMillau points), guests can savor Lebanese mezze, while ZOOM combines regional and international cuisine. Both restaurants offer outdoor seating on their terraces.
Coffee and croissant lovers will also find plenty to enjoy in The Circle – whether at the Italian specialty store Sapori d'Italia, at Pret a Manger, in Chreis 14, or, starting this summer, at Confiserie Bachmann.
