Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,947,964 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in September (+4.6% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 7.4% and transfer passengers decreased by -1.8%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.4% last September, is at 28.6% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 102.0% of the 2019 level.

In September, flight movements increased by 2.0% to 23,778 versus previous year. Flight movements were 97.6% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in September was CHF 57.1m (+2.3% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 4.8% for airside and -1.3% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 428,834 at Florianópolis Airport (+33.4% vs. previous year)
• 296,065 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (-2.4% vs. previous year)
• 199,881 at Natal Airport
• 217,764 at Antofagasta Airport (+11.8% vs. previous year)
• 141,900 at Iquique Airport (-3.7% vs. previous year)
