Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,372,643 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in December (+8.1% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 10.6% and transfer passengers increased by 3.0%. The transfer rate, which was at 31.1% last December, is at 29.6% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 101.7% of the 2019 level.

In December, flight movements increased by 6.1% to 20,048 versus previous year. Flight movements were 99.3% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in December was CHF 55.1m (+0.4% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 4.3% for airside and -3.7% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 462,123 at Florianópolis Airport (+17.9% vs. previous year)
• 298,809 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+6.1% vs. previous year)
• 227,356 at Natal Airport
• 230,540 at Antofagasta Airport (+6.0% vs. previous year)
• 137,756 at Iquique Airport (-1.6% vs. previous year)
