Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,620,051 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in April (+6.9% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 6.6% and transfer passengers increased by 7.8%. The transfer rate, which was at 28.6% last April, is at 28.8% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 96.1% of the 2019 level. 

In April, flight movements increased by 7.0% to 21,967 versus previous year. Flight movements were 94.4% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in April was CHF 51.3m (+0.7% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 5.8% for airside and -5.5% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 313,487 at Florianópolis Airport (+3.2% vs. previous year)
• 264,856 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (-4.3% vs. previous year)
• 165,966 at Natal Airport
• 213,922 at Antofagasta Airport (+19.2% vs. previous year)
• 126,158 at Iquique Airport (-11.8% vs. previous year)
