Winter timetable 2026/27: More connections to Lapland and new destinations from Zurich
On Sunday 25 October 2026, the 2026/27 winter timetable will come into effect at Zurich Airport. A total of 58 scheduled and charter airlines will connect Zurich Airport with 173 destinations in 71 countries. The timetable will remain in effect until 27 March 2027.
SWISS is expanding its route network and will be flying to Bengaluru in India for the first time. The destination will be served five times a week with non-stop flights from Zurich, strengthening Switzerland’s links to one of South Asia’s most important economic hubs.
Cathay Pacific will in future operate the larger Airbus A350-1000 on the route between Hong Kong and Zurich instead of the Airbus A350-900, increasing the available capacity.
Thai Airways is also expanding its flight services between Zurich and Bangkok. From January, the airline will offer eleven flights per week. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, Bangkok will be connected with Zurich twice daily.
Edelweiss is increasing its services to holiday destinations in Latin America. San José will now be served twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
easyJet is also adding Marrakech to its route network this winter. The airline will operate direct flights from Zurich to the Moroccan city every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the winter timetable period.
Additional connections for the winter season
Just in time for the winter season, services to Lapland are being expanded. For the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Finnair is once again connecting Zurich with Kittilä. At the same time, Edelweiss is expanding its winter services to Finland and increasing its capacity to both Kittilä and Rovaniemi.
Chair Airlines is adding Porto to its winter schedule. Between 18 December 2026 and 9 January 2027, the airline will operate flights from Zurich to the Portuguese coastal town, complementing the range of flights available over the festive period.
Note on the current situation
The impact of the Middle East conflict on the winter timetable is currently difficult to assess. Adjustments to certain routes cannot be ruled out.
