The Circle strengthens its focus on the world of work and culinary delights
The Circle has established itself as a popular address for nationally and internationally successful companies and service providers at Zurich Airport. With Novu Campus, the SAP Experience Center, the ZRH Innovation Hub and Confiserie Bachmann, four new concepts will complement the range of services on the ground floor areas in the future.
Ever since its opening in 2020, more than 50 companies with over 5,000 employees have chosen the Circle as their location. In total, more than 90% of the space is rented.
We are very satisfied with the occupancy rate and the variety of offers in the Circle. The demand for office and co-working spaces is high. The hotels, the Convention Center, various health services and culinary offers are also used and appreciated. We would like to continue to build on these strengths of the Circle as a high-quality business and service location in the future. We are very pleased about the four new tenants, who are an excellent fit for the Circle.
New coworking concept
Starting in mid-2025, the new tenant Novu Campus AG will present the workplace of the future in the Circle on an area of almost 4,000 m2. In addition to the diverse and vibrant community, Novu Campus AG focuses on a coworking offer for up-and-coming national and international companies. The offer is rounded off with an highly modern infrastructure for holding meetings and workshops.
Fostering innovation
With two new offerings, the Circle will focus on the topic of innovation in the future: SAP is based in the Circle since 2021. Europe's largest provider of business software intends to establish Switzerland's first SAP Experience Center in the Circle. The planned SAP Experience Center is intended to make SAP's innovative strength tangible for its customers and business partners.
The Circle's business environment offers the ideal conditions to inspire and put innovative ideas into practice.
Furthermore, the ZRH Innovation Hub recently moved into another ground floor space. Here, various airport partners will be advancing innovations in the future. The ZRH Innovation Hub pursues projects to generate added value in terms of customer experience and increasing efficiency.
New culinary offer
From summer 2025, Confiserie Bachmann from Lucerne will present its more than 127-year-old craftsmanship on the main square. In the premises of the Jelmoli Sporthouse, a specialist shop with an integrated bakery and chocolaterie for tasteful delights is being created. A gelateria with outdoor seating will be installed on the terrace for the summer months. The confectionery thus complements the culinary offer in the Circle, which is broadly positioned with over ten formats from take-away to fine dining.
Attractive place to work
The special architecture of the Circle, created by the recent Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Riken Yamamoto, the excellent transport connections and the international atmosphere make the Circle an attractive place to work, which is appreciated by companies and service providers alike. Brand appearances of brands such as Omega and AMAG as well as various events such as Food Zurich or the Zauberpark complete the overall offer of the Circle.

The Circle is a business and service center at Zurich Airport. With over 5,000 employees in around 50 different companies from IT , pharmaceuticals and mobility, as well as service providers for health, beauty and entertainment, the building complex is of great economic importance beyond the airport region. Two hotels of the Hyatt Hotel Group, a Convention Center for up to 2,500 guests, an outpatient health center of the University Hospital with over 1,000 patients per day. Appearances of renowned brands such as Omega or AMAG as well as various restaurants, bars and an associated park complete the offer. Circle architect Riken Yamamoto was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2024, and the Circle is his only work in Europe to date. The project was implemented by a co-ownership association, in which Flughafen Zürich AG holds a 51 per cent stake and Swiss Life AG a 49 per cent stake.
