Restrictions on train services on four weekends in January and February 2025
Due to construction work on railway infrastructure by SBB, Zurich Airport Station will be only partially accessible from Zurich HB/Zurich Oerlikon and Winterthur on four weekends in January and February 2025. Travelers and visitors are advised to use alternative connections and carefully plan their journeys.

Saturday, 8 February 2025, 04:00 – Monday, 10 February 2025, 04:38
During these periods, train traffic between Zurich HB/Zurich Oerlikon and Zurich Airport, as well as between Winterthur and Zurich Airport, will be significantly restricted in both directions. Long-distance trains will be rerouted and will not stop at Zurich Airport Station.
Access to Zurich Airport by train will be maintained through replacement trains. However, travelers should expect travel times to be extended by up to 20 minutes. Alternative connections will be suggested in the SBB online timetable.
Plan Your Journey in Advance
Travelers and visitors are advised to check their connections in advance on the SBB website or via the SBB app. Early morning services will also be affected, so passengers with early departures are encouraged to plan their journeys carefully.
It is recommended to allow extra time for travel to Zurich Airport.
