Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,084,181 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (+6.4% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 9.0% and transfer passengers increased by 0.8%. The transfer rate, which was at 32.0% last January, is at 30.3% in the month under review.

In January, flight movements increased by 5.7% to 19,491 versus previous year.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in January was CHF 44.2m (+2.7% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 8.4% for airside and -3.3% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 549,012 at Florianópolis Airport (+19.6% vs. previous year)
• 303,157 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+8.5% vs. previous year)
• 250,879 at Natal Airport
• 259,258 at Antofagasta Airport (+7.1% vs. previous year)
• 166,124 at Iquique Airport (-6.5% vs. previous year)
