Traffic Figures Zurich 

3,096,971 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in August (+6.0% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 5.6% and transfer passengers increased by 6.8%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.5% last August, is at 30.7% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 99.5% of the 2019 level.

In August, flight movements increased by 3.9% to 24,132 versus previous year. Flight movements were 95.5% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in August was CHF 55.7m (+2.0% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 5.0% for airside and -2.0% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 440,090 at Florianópolis Airport (+35.5% vs. previous year)
• 300,880 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (-11.0% vs. previous year)
• 201,768 at Natal Airport
• 213,612 at Antofagasta Airport (+8.1% vs. previous year)
• 128,836 at Iquique Airport (-16.1% vs. previous year)
