Circle Frühlingsfest 2025: A diverse program for children and adults

On Saturday, 17 May and Sunday, 18 May, the Circle Frühlingsfest will take place at the Circle at Zurich Airport. From dance shows and live music to food trucks, fun and games – visitors can look forward to a diverse festival program.

The spring festival offers the perfect opportunity to explore the Circle and the airport park. On both days, there will be attractions and specials to discover in the stores and restaurants in the Circle. The Frühlingsfest takes place on Saturday, May 17 from 11:00 to 19:00. On Sunday, May 18, it starts an hour earlier and lasts until 18:00. 

Visitors will also have the opportunity to get to know the Circle better on a Circle tour and take a look behind the scenes. Those who want to learn more about the hotel industry at the Circle can take part in tours of the hotels Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place. At the Health Center of the University Hospital Zurich (USZ), guests can also look forward to various short presentations on the topic of health and a health trail. All guided tours and lectures during the Frühlingsfest are free of charge. Registration takes place directly on site. 

Ranger tours, face painting and carousel

There will also be plenty to experience in the airport park. Those who want to find out more about the flora and fauna at Zurich Airport can take part in one of the free ranger tours. The youngest guests can also look forward to the following free highlights: a children's carousel, a bouncy castle, face painting, the airport mascot Rolli Rollkoffer (from 13:00 to 16:00) and a play area.

Culinary journey around the world 

The restaurants and bars in the Circle offer the opportunity to experience their cuisine during the Frühlingsfest. Whether it's authentic wood-fired pizza at l'Oro di Napoli, grilled delights on the main square at Leon's Loft or Lebanese delicacies at Babel Restaurant in the hotel Hyatt Regency – there's something for everyone. Another culinary highlight is the food market with several stalls in the Südgasse. Various food trucks with sweet treats from all over the world will also await visitors. 

Live music at the Frühlingsfest

The musical program also ensures a great atmosphere: the band Vivien & the Headline will be playing on the main square on Saturday from 11:00 to 14:30. The Murphys will also be performing on Saturday from 15:00 to 19:00. On Sunday they start an hour earlier and can be heard until 18:00. The band Since 11 will also be on the main square on Sundays from 10:00 to 13:30. Singer-songwriter Jermaine Harding will be playing at the Coffee Bar on Südplatz on Saturday from 15:00 to 19:00. On Sunday, singer and guitarist Fabienne Hostettler will be performing from 14:00 to 18:00. Visitors to Südplatz can also enjoy a dance show by TANZ-FABRIK every hour on the hour, on Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 to 14:00.
