Andrea Bärwalde already knows the airline industry from different previous positions. Among other things, she was media spokesperson for Swiss International Air Lines for more than six years. Bärwalde has also worked as deputy head of the media office for a pharmaceutical company in Frankfurt a. M. and as head of corporate communications for Valais/Wallis Promotion. Most recently, she was an independent communications consultant for four years.

Andrea Bärwalde holds a BA in journalism and communication studies as well as an MBA in sustainability management. As the new Senior Media Spokesperson, she joins the media team of Flughafen Zürich AG with Bettina Kunz, Jasmin Bodmer-Breu and Elena Stern.
