The current organization of Flughafen Zürich AG with four divisions will be reduced to three units: Aviation (currently Operations), Non-Aviation (currently Marketing & Real Estate) and Finance. The central staff functions of the Services division will in part be assigned directly to the CEO or integrated into the existing divisions respectively.

In addition, together with the realization decision for the major project «The Circle» a joint ownership with Swiss Life will be founded whereof Flughafen Zürich AG will hold 51%. The overall project leader Beat Pahud will serve as general manager of the joint ownership «The Circle» and bear the total operational responsibility of the project simultaneously.

Due to the streamlined organizational structure the Services division will be dissolved. Michael Schallhart, head of this division since 2008, will therefore leave the company in the course of the year 2015. The board of directors thanks Michael Schallhart for his strong commitment and wishes him all the best for the future.

As per 1st of April 2015, the management board of Flughafen Zürich AG consists of Stephan Widrig as Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Schmucki as Chief Financial Officer, Stefan Conrad as head of the Aviation division and Chief Operations Officer and Patrick Candrian as head of the Non-Aviation division and Chief Commercial Officer.
