From the end of June to the end of August, SWISS will also serve routes to Montpellier and Niš with two weekly flights each, as well as Heringsdorf with one flight per week.

Edelweiss is also expanding its European route network. From mid-April, the airline will fly twice weekly to the Georgian capital Tbilisi. In the Azores, Edelweiss is enhancing its service: in addition to up to three weekly flights to Ponta Delgada, Terceira will be served once a week from the end of June. Two other new destinations include Zadar in Croatia and Calvi on the island of Corsica.

Additionally, Condor will offer two daily flights between Zurich and Frankfurt from the end of March.

New direct flights to the USA and Canada

Edelweiss is expanding its long-haul network and introducing two new destinations in North America. Seattle and Halifax (Nova Scotia) will be served twice a week.

Delta Air Lines will resume its seasonal Zurich-Atlanta route as early as mid-April, with daily flights starting in mid-May.

Additional flights to popular summer destinations

easyJet is adding six new destinations to its summer schedule from Zurich. Starting at the end of March, the airline will operate flights to Rome (twice daily), Palma (daily), and Malaga (up to four times weekly). In April, Faro will be added with two weekly flights, followed by Edinburgh in May, also with two weekly flights. From June to August, Olbia will be served five times per week.

The existing winter-season route to Manchester will remain in place, bringing easyJet’s total number of destinations from Zurich to 14.

Edelweiss will now operate two daily flights to Sardinia, serving both Olbia and Cagliari. Additionally, Faro in Portugal will be served up to six times a week, and Madeira up to eight times a week.  Kittilä will now also be served in the summer.

More Flights to Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airways is gradually increasing its service between Zurich and Abu Dhabi. Starting in July, the route will be operated twice daily, providing passengers with greater flexibility for travel to the Middle East and beyond.

Check-in 1 fully reopened

With the completion of the construction work on the baggage conveyor belts, Check-in 1 will be fully available again with the start of the summer timetable. In addition to Business and First Class travelers, Economy Class passengers flying with SWISS and other airlines can now also use this area.
