Traffic Figures Zurich 

3,326,119 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in August (+1.8% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 0.5% and transfer passengers increased by 4.9%. The transfer rate, which was at 29.7% last August, is at 30.6% in the month under review.

In August, flight movements increased by 2.9% to 26,009 versus previous year.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in August was CHF 58.9m (+2.0%). The change divides into +5.1% for airside and -2.7% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 372,306 at Florianópolis Airport (-5.1% vs. previous year)
• 361,728 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+5.2% vs. previous year)
• 240,747 at Natal Airport (+19.7% vs. previous year)
• 118,878 at Iquique Airport (-3.4% vs. previous year)
• 64,982 at Noida Airport
