Traffic Figures Zurich 

3,028,701 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in May (+9.1% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 11.0% and transfer passengers increased by 4.5%. The transfer rate, which was at 27.7% last May, is at 26.5% in the month under review.

In May, flight movements increased by 5.1% to 25,318 versus previous year.

Please note that both Ascension Day and Whitsun fell in May this year.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in May was CHF 58.8m (+8.8% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +14.2% for airside and +1.2% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 347,006 at Florianópolis Airport (-4.0% vs. previous year)
• 344,024 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+8.7% vs. previous year)
• 215,570 at Natal Airport (+23.3% vs. previous year)
• 126,610 at Iquique Airport (-1.3% vs. previous year)
