Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,775,275 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in May (+0.1% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 1.4% and transfer passengers decreased by -3.0%. The transfer rate, which was at 28.6% last May, is at 27.7% in the month under review.

In May, flight movements increased by 1.4% to 24,092 versus previous year.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in May was CHF 53.9m (-3.1% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into -2.1% for airside and -4.6% for landside. 
 

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 361,631 at Florianópolis Airport (-2.8% vs. previous year)
• 316,493 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+12.2% vs. previous year)
• 174,837 at Natal Airport (+2.7% vs. previous year)
• 228,592 at Antofagasta Airport (+5.8% vs. previous year)
• 128,334 at Iquique Airport (+0.4% vs. previous year)
