Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,226,608 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (+6.8% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 6.6% and transfer passengers increased by 7.4%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.3% last January, is at 30.5% in the month under review.

In January, flight movements increased by 2.7% to 20,006 versus previous year. 

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in January was CHF 46.9m (+6.4% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +12.1% for airside and -0.6% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 671,736 at Florianópolis Airport (+22.4% vs. previous year)
• 350,272 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+15.5% vs. previous year)
• 283,212 at Natal Airport (+12.9% vs. previous year)
• 238,252 at Antofagasta Airport (-8.1% vs. previous year)
• 143,864 at Iquique Airport (-13.4% vs. previous year)
