Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,545,889 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in December (+7.3% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 7.7% and transfer passengers increased by 6.4%. The transfer rate, which was at 29.6% last December, is at 29.4% in the month under review.

In December, flight movements increased by 5.8% to 21,203 versus previous year.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in December was CHF 57.4m (+4.1% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +11.2% for airside and -4.3% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 539,931 at Florianópolis Airport (+16.8% vs. previous year)
• 358,143 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+19.9% vs. previous year)
• 236,744 at Natal Airport (+4.1% vs. previous year)
• 256,330 at Antofagasta Airport (+11.2% vs. previous year)
• 131,466 at Iquique Airport (-4.6% vs. previous year)
